Scott Wallace | Founder, CEO & Lead Faculty
Since 2007, Scott has led high-value health care transformation initiatives across more than 15 countries, with experience spanning cancer, diabetes, dementia, congenital heart conditions, obesity, and mental health. He helped launch graduate programs at Dartmouth and The University of Texas at Austin before co-founding Health Value Academy in 2024. Scott co-created the Experience Group research methodology with Elizabeth Teisberg and has helped develop implementation roadmaps used in more than 45 health care transformation projects, which serve as the foundation of Health Value Academy's educational programs.

Audrey Walter | Chief Operating Officer
Audrey has been an integral part of Health Value Academy since its launch in 2024, leading operations and helping build the organization from the ground up. Previously, she worked with Scott Wallace and Elizabeth Teisberg at the Value Institute for Health & Care at The University of Texas at Austin. She began her career working with patient advocacy organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and LIVESTRONG, where she developed a passion for advancing patient-centered health care.

Jake Rothwell | Chief Commercial Officer
Jake joined Health Value Academy after 14 years with International SOS, a global health and security services company, where he helped organizations protect their people and manage health and security risks around the world. Having lived in Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States—and traveled to more than 35 countries—Jake brings a global perspective to his work. He now focuses on building partnerships and expanding Health Value Academy's global community of health care leaders.

Jenn Maclin | Sr. Director, Learning and Design
Jennifer Maclin is a talent and organizational development leader with 20 years of experience designing talent strategies across the employee lifecycle—from acquisition and onboarding to leadership development, performance, career growth, and organizational change. She has worked with global enterprises, high-growth organizations, and higher education institutions to create learner-centered experiences and scalable talent programs that build workforce capability, strengthen leadership, and improve organizational performance. Kathleen Carberry | Lead Faculty, Outcomes Expert
Kathy is a nurse, health outcomes measurement expert, and leader in value-based health care transformation. With more than 20 years of experience, she helps organizations design more outcomes-driven, patient-centered systems of care. She is the founder of Elizabeth Health Partners, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, and is the author of How to Measure Health Outcomes, a practical guide to implementing outcomes measurement.
Andrew Well | Lead Faculty
Andrew Well, MD, is a physician and researcher at Vanderbilt University Medical Center whose work focuses on value-based health care transformation. He developed a comprehensive Journey Map detailing the lived experience of children with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and implemented a Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing model to evaluate care costs.
Casey Leavitt | Faculty
Casey Leavitt is leading efforts to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and develop value-based models for musculoskeletal care. With over 30 years of experience, she has held leadership roles in academic medical centers, healthcare consultancy services, and start-ups. Casey holds a master’s degree in Health Care Transformation from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from the University of Utah, and a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Utah State University.
Eva Villalba | Faculty, French Program
Eva Villalba is Executive Director of the Quebec Cancer Coalition and has been a leader in patient advocacy and health system improvement since 2008. An internationally recognized expert in value-based health care, she champions patient-centered care, learning health systems, and strategic partnerships. Eva is also a graduate of the Master of Science in Health Care Transformation program at The University of Texas at Austin.
Paula Daibert | Faculty, Portuguese Program
Paula Daibert, MD is Director of Innovation at IAG Saúde Group, where she leads value-based health care technology, patient outcomes measurement, AI-driven risk models, and international partnerships. A primary care physician with a master's degree in Health Sciences, Paula is a graduate of the inaugural ICHOM-Certified VBHC Certificate program and has helped advance the implementation of ICHOM standards across Latin America.
