Since 2007, Scott has worked on high-value transformations spanning a wide array of conditions including cancer, diabetes, dementia, congenital heart anomalies, obesity, and mental health in more than 15 countries.
Scott helped launch the Master of Health Care Delivery Science program at Dartmouth college and co-lead the launch of the Master of Science in Health Care Transformation program at the University of Texas at Austin. His work in co-creating and teaching five of its nine courses, he was awarded the university’s highest honor for educational innovation and teaching excellence in 2023.
Working closely with Elizabeth Teisberg, Scott created the Experience Group research methodology that centers the expertise of patients in the process of transforming health care services.
In 2024, Scott founded Health Value Academy and launched the ICHOM-Certified Value-Based Health Care Program which has graduated over 625 people – 1/3 of have been from Saudi Arabia.
