Rooted in two decades of work in value-based health care, Health Value Academy equips health care organizations and professionals with the knowledge and skills to lead value-based health care transformation.

Our faculty and leadership pioneered VBHC Education at Dartmouth College and the University of Texas at Austin with programs ranging from executive education and workshops to master’s degree programs.  In additional to academic work defining the field of value, we have extensive hands on experiencedesigning, teaching, and implementing value-based health care initiatives globally across academic, governmental, provider, payer, and industry settings. We have lead or supported more than 45 health care transformation projects.

Today, Health Value Academy delivers practical, globally informed learning experiences to health care leaders and organizations seeking with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to improve outcomes, lower costs, and create value for patients.

In 2025, ICHOM began certifying the VBHC Professional Program created and offered by Health Value Academy. We launched that effort together using the banner of ICHOM Education, a brand we remain proud to carry.
